Finova has been a long time in the making. I’ve spent over 20 years helping companies build people practices that support growth, create clarity, and make work feel more human.
My experience is intentionally broad. I’ve led People Operations across a wide range of industries—from fast-paced startups and scaling tech teams to high-touch, unusual environments like household staffing. Working in such diverse worlds has taught me that while every business is different, the need for a human-centered approach is universal.


I view "HR" as just one piece of a much larger puzzle. To me, People Operations is about treating your team as strategic partners and unique individuals, rather than just labor or "resources." My work is about humanizing business processes—facilitating everything that helps employees feel productive, happy, and proud from the day they’re hired to the day they move on.
I’ve been the first HR hire, the internal partner, and the person leaders turn to when people decisions feel high-stakes or unclear. Based in Washington state for my entire career, I’ve supported local teams as well as multi-state organizations across the country.
